In this episode, I share the story of the time Annalise sent me a butterfly—a moment that brought me unexpected comfort and the courage to reach out to another grieving father, Josh Meyers. Josh’s daughter, Sophia, became the inspiration for the SoSo Strong Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, as well as a statue honoring her and other children from Mississippi who lost their lives to Diffuse Midline Gliomas such as DIPG. Through our stories, I hope to show how moments of hope and connection can emerge even in the midst of deep loss.
